Art can bring a lot of personality to your home. For us, a home really starts to feel like a home and that you live there once you get something up on the walls. But if you are like us, it takes you awhile to agree on a piece let alone get it framed. We have been carrying around beloved pieces of art for years waiting for the right space and frame to get it up on the wall. For some reason choosing a frame can be almost as daunting as a task as choosing the artwork itself. That was until we found these frame shops that knock it out of the park each time we work with them. Here are our favorite places to buy modern frames.
CUSTOM – Simply Framed
Simply Framed has become our favorite place to get our physical artwork framed. We love that there are not an overwhelming amount of frames to choose from and that their quality is really high. They provide mailers and insurance to safely mail your artwork in for framing. There is also a digital upload option if you do not have a physical piece.
PHOTOS – Artifact Uprising
We’ve been using AU for as long as they have been in existence. They were one of the first brands to provide a high quality option for printing your Instagram photos and more modern options for wedding photos. They have since expanded into other categories and everything they make is absolutely beautiful. Their printing is topnotch and if for some reason you are not satisfied they are quick to make it right. AU is our go-to for printing and framing all of our photos.
AFFORDABLE – CB2
For smaller frames and items that you feel confident enough to frame on your own, we love CB2. The Gallery collection of frames are our favorite. They have a ton of different sizes and finish options when you’re looking for a less expensive option. The one limitation is if your art or photo is not a standard size, you will likely need a custom frame.
