Our Story

It all began with a small piece of land and some far-fetched dreams. In 2017, we bought a quiet half-acre around the corner from our tiny rental apartment. In truth we had been referring to it as “our land” for quite some time. We spent the next two and a half summers designing our small, but sophisticated home and devoted our free time to the hard, laborious task of clearing the land. Then at the end of July 2019 we broke ground and it all started coming to fruition. A little less than a year and a half and a worldwide pandemic later we moved into our first home. We hand selected everything we put in our home with intention around its use, longevity, and effect on the planet.

Along the way we had also been working on expanding our family. And little did we know but the best was yet to come when in August 2021 we would welcome our little ivf miracle. Our sassy firecracker of a daughter has filled our home and hearts with more love than we could imagine. In the pages of this website you will find all of the ups and downs of our journeys, the hard lessons we have learned, the things we wished we had known, and hopefully something helpful to guide you on your own journey.
